Mr. Blaida has over a decade of experience in site development engineering, construction administration and project management. In the past, his duties have included project management and project engineering for site design, construction document production and construction administration.
Through Mr. Blaida’s project experience, he has designed and permitted projects of all scopes and sizes – from one acre out-parcels to several hundred acre multi-use planned developments. He has permitted these projects through over fifteen (15) local, state and federal agencies to meet or exceed the requirements of the individual agencies, received the permits from the agencies and seen the projects through construction into the operation phase including the appropriate close out through each agency.
Mr. Blaida received his Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Central Florida in 2000. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Florida (PE No. 61017), he is certified through the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) which can help with reciprocity if PE licensure is required in other states, and he is a LEED Accredited Professional through the USGBC.
Mr. Blaida is also an active member of the Florida Engineering Society Central Florida Chapter, having previously served the chapter as co-chair of the Community Service Committee, secretary of the Central Florida Board, and current treasurer of the Central Florida Board.

Duties included site layout, drainage calculations, utility calculations and all other areas of design for single family residential, attached residential, and commercial land development projects. Oversaw project design teams consisting of engineers and drafting technicians from the preliminary stages of the project into the permitting phase and finishing with the certification of completion of the infrastructure.
Other duties include coordination with planners, hardscape/landscape architects, surveyors, geotechnical consultants, biology consultants, and architects for the completion of the project, all while coordinating with clients to maintain project schedules and project budgets. Also, participated in eminent domain cases and due diligence work for preliminary site investigations, as well as construction observation of projects.
Additional duties include being responsible for design and permitting for private-sector clients and projects. Duties as a project manager and engineer included site design, construction document production, site development engineering, project management, and construction administration. Project experience includes residential subdivisions, roadway design, roadway drainage, commercial projects, resort development and urban redevelopment, serving as project manager, project engineer and/or project construction administrator.
110 unit HUD Funded apartment complex. The project was a redevelopment of an existing RV park. Responsible charge for Site Paving, Grading, Drainage, and Geometry design and plan production. Permitted through SFWMD, FDOT, ACOE, Monroe County, FKAA, and FKEC.
